We are currently seeking an Events Manager to join our growing team. The Events Manager will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of events, tradeshows and their respective marketing components. They will be proactive in planning, problem solving, vendor negotiations, tradeshow logistics and collaboration with decision makers to grow customer acquisition, improve customer experience and increase revenue of our growing company. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for AimLock booth design, booth logistics, advertising, promotions, partnerships and sponsorships related to events
  • Support to supply chain coordinator for customer demonstrations and vendor management
  • Support Marketing Director in other marketing deliveries
  • Sell AimLock’s technology to top Military decision makers
  • Work with Marketing department to produce sales collateral for events
  • Assist EPMO with managing and maintaining event budgets and project timelines
  • Collaborate with sales team to understand best client sales strategy to put AimLock’s message in front of top prospects
  • Negotiate and execute small and large-scale events internationally
  • Work with executive management team and cross functional leaders to establish overall public relations and external communications for the company.
  • Ability to represent AimLock with the media and basic understanding of the PR process
  • 50% Travel
  • Other responsibilities as directed and assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business and/or marketing or equivalent experience within event marketing and public relations
  • 3 to 5 years of event management and public relations experience
  • Strong project management and project planning skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
  • Exceptional teamwork, organization, multitasking, must be detail-oriented, and have strong time management and coordination skills
  • Available to work flexible hours on occasion as required to ensure timely logistics
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • High standards of, and ability to maintain, strict confidentiality as appropriate
  • Demonstrated professionalism and a high level of customer service
  • Must show flexibility, adaptability and positivity when responding to changes in work volume or priorities, driven by company growth
  • Ability to pass and maintain a clear background check and drug screening
  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain US security clearance

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for approximately 70% of the time
  • Must be able to move about inside the office to access equipment and office machinery
  • Must have the ability to move, transport, position and/or remove up 25 pounds
  • Must be able to position oneself to move in a manner required to perform the daily work associated with this role
  • Must be able to operate standard office productivity machinery and equipment on a daily basis including a phone, computer, monitor, mouse and keyboard, photocopy machine, scanner and e-fax
  • Daily work environment and noise level is that of a standard office
  • Occasionally you may experience, or be in the vicinity of, outdoor weather conditions at our Ranch location, although basic shelter from the elements is provided it is not constant, based on the scope of tasks being performed
  • Occasionally you may experience, or be in the vicinity of, a noise level consistent with a warehouse work environment
