If you are that type of individual, we are currently seeking a Director of Program Management to join our growing team. This position will report into the CEO.

The Director of Program Management plays a significant role at AimLock. This position is responsible for the “who, what, and why” of all planning and program management functions to include providing company-wide guidance and governance and implementing standardized project management processes, project portfolio management best practices, tools and techniques for the organization. This position is also responsible for the following:

  • Development of integrated master schedules, cost-schedule-performance trade space analysis, and lessons learned capture & training (w/ all departments)
  • Full spectrum contract management and customer transition plan including technical proposal support to business development, contract development and maintenance, stakeholder analysis & management, and customer deliverables; and
  • Oversight of systems engineering analysis and requirements capture plus risk management

  • Accountable for planning, documenting, communicating, and reacting to master project schedules, budgets, and staffing resources across government contracted initiatives and AimLock product roadmap initiatives
  • Formulation of new methods and processes across the organization through systematic thinking and comprehension of broader organizational implications for masterful project planning and execution
  • Responsible for supervision of Program Manager and Project Managers
  • Responsible for completing annual performance reviews to include defining individual employee goals and department goals
  • Responsible for team results / departmental deliverables
  • Responsible for growing and developing employees
  • Responsible for partnering with Human Resources to hire talent
  • Responsible for partnering with Human Resources to manage performance
  • Responsible for coordinating the approval of purchasing requisitions, expense reimbursements, timesheet and PTO approvals through project managers
  • Preparation of materials and collaboration with VPs for quarterly and annual strategy meetings
  • Statement of Work creation in collaboration with Business Development team, to include cost and schedule estimation, risk assessment, and resource requirements
  • Assist in the development of internal controls and policies based on accounting principles and financial standards
  • Technical proposal support: delegating technical approach to appropriate SMEs, assembling appropriate background information from prior proposals, communication with technical writers (when available), and drafting new content as needed
  • Support Business Development with government relations, outreach, strategy and planning, key opportunity assessment, and advisement to sales personnel
  • Support executive contract review, acceptance, and compliance process with subject matter expertise in standards such as FAR, DFAR, OSHA, AA&E, Security, and other standards
  • Other responsibilities as assigned and directed


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience
  • 5+ Years of Project Management experience, preferably in military markets
  • Prior Supervisory/Management experience
  • Intermediate/Advance Project Management Software experience
  • Proficiency in database utilization and applicable reporting; Jamis, Deltek, or SAP experienced desired 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Including MS Word, MS Project, MS Outlook, MS Visio
  • Exceptional ability to lead teams, multitask, and problem-solve
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to keep information confidential
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and a high level of customer service
  • Must show flexibility and positivity when responding to changes in work volume or competing priorities
  • Must be a Team Player -ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain US security clearance

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for more than 75% of the time
  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access equipment and office machinery
  • Must have the ability to move, transport, position and/or remove up 25 pounds
  • Must be able to position oneself to move in a manner required to perform the daily work associated with this role
  • Must be able to operate standard office productivity machinery and equipment including a phone, computer, mouse and keyboard, photocopy machine, scanner and e-fax
  • Daily work environment and noise level is that of a standard office
  • Occasionally you may experience, or be in the vicinity of, outdoor weather conditions at our Ranch location, although basic shelter from the elements is provided it is not constant, based on the scope of tasks being performed
  • Occasionally you may experience, or be in the vicinity of, a noise level consistent with a warehouse work environment
