AimLock is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) to work closely with the Engineering and Business Development teams to provide our customers with tailored solutions to meet their needs. The FSR will travel extensively to participate in technical demonstrations, sales support activities, research and development projects, product testing, and training events with AimLock's robotic targeting systems. This role will also provide maintenance and sustainment support and is primarily responsible for the installation, verification, operation, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and modification to various components of robotic positioners, electronic cameras, cabling, power, and computing systems.

The ideal candidate will have broad military experience involving electro-mechanical machinery and a desire to continue serving the mission. A propensity for working outoors and a track record of independence will match well with this rewarding and challenging assignment. Salary Range: $56k/y to $110k/y


  • Become the expert on installation, operation, and deployment of AimLock robotic systems
  • Provide onsite equipment support at customer sites, including setup, demonstrations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and repairs
  • Analyze field failures and abnormalities and report feedback to the development team
  • Oversee and assist with preventive maintenance checks and services on all systems
  • Manage the movement and accountability of materials, equipment, tools, work site set up, and record keeping within prescribed policies and procedures
  • Assist the development of all training materials and participate in training of customer users


  • 5+ years experience in technical field assignments
  • Experience with weapons, communications systems, and off-road driving required
  • Experience with remote/unmanned ground, aerial, or surface vehicles/vessels preferred
  • Experience driving cargo vehicles and towing trailers
  • Familiarity with tablet computers
  • Microsoft Windows/Office suite, Android OS, iOS, and Linux
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and note-taking
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to travel
  • Must currently possess or be able to obtain a passport and US security clearance

Physical Demands

  • 20% of work is performed in an office, laboratory, or machine shop environment
  •  80% of work is performed at various field sites, firing ranges, and military proving grounds
  • Travel and local commute between AimLock offices and remote test sites, and other possible non-AimLock locations is required
  • Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 75-pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Daily work environment includes operation of equipment that can cause injury to yourself or others if used improperly
  • Noise levels include extremes such as firing of electric gatling guns with appropriate hearing protection
  • Work regulary requires conveyance and tasking in helicopters, maritime assault craft, open topped off-road vehicles, armored vehicles, and simulated environments of such
  • Occasional exposure to extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow Is expected
