The Warehouse Manager will oversee all logistical activities within the local facilities. Responsibilities include setting up logical organization systems, tracking inventory, preparing shipments, receiving new shipments, and creating communications that support staff and customer needs.

Salary Range: $51k/y to $82k/y

Responsibilities

  • Organizing and documenting legacy and active project assets and production inventory
  • Organizing and documenting tools and equipment: location, condition, availability
  • Inspecting received shipments for completeness against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Ensuring safe use of warehouse (forklift, scaffolding, etc.) and shop equipment
  • Maintaining familiarity with state and federal laws, regulations, and requirements related to domestic and international importing, exporting, transportation, and shipping
  • Communicating with other departments to ensure products are received and shipped in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Highly detail oriented with efficient time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and track multiple processes simultaneously
  • Must show flexibility and positivity when responding to changes in work volume, pace, and priorities
  • Available to work flexible hours on occasion as required to ensure timely logistics
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening
  • Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications; experience with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, OneNote is preferred
  • Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Hazmat/dangerous goods shipping experience highly preferred
  • Proven experience managing inventory, tools, shipping, receiving, supply chain, or coordination/support role preferred

Physical Demands

  • Requires approximately 90% local, 10% field-site work
  • Work is performed in a warehouse facility, office, laboratory, or machine shop environment
  • Travel and local commute between AimLock offices and remote test sites, and other non-AimLock locations may be required
  • Must be able to regularly move, transport, position, and/or remove up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to position oneself to move in a manner required to perform the daily work associated with this role
  • Must be able to operate standard office productivity machinery and equipment including a phone, computer, mouse and keyboard, photocopy machine, scanner and e-fax
  • Daily work environment and noise level is that of a standard machine shop
  • Occasionally you may experience, or be in the vicinity of, outdoor weather conditions at our field site.
